- Look Into My eyes – Peter Masters (review by Laurent: For those who have absolutely no experience with anything, this book is a good start. If you have at least some experience, this book does not cover any advanced technique or anything, it is more a very very very basic and easy read approach to start giving hypno sessions. A lot of you guys won’t learn anything out of it though, so keep that in mind.)
- Tranceworks – Michael D.Yapko: An Introduction to the Practice of Clinical Hypnosis (review by Laurent: Very general / generic book about clinical hypnosis. Good book to build a mindset about the discipline, nothing erotic, only scientific facts. (Excellent first read, but more on the boring side for some)
- Trance-formations - Richard Bandler and John Grinder: (review by Laurent: A very good book that tackles the more modern approach to hypnosis. Confusion, Overload, Negative phrasing suggestions are some of the more advanced techniques you can approach with this book.)
- Hypnotherapy - An explanatory Casebook by Milton H. Erickson; Ernest Lawrence Rossi: (review by Laurent: Very advanced books mostly consisting of observations about Milton H. Erickson, a guy who has been considered many as the most groundbreaking hypnotist ever. It is not beginner friendly at all, but very interesting.)
